In Tanzania, where healthcare access remains challenging, building resilient medical teams is essential for advancing UHC goals as it fosters a collective strength that enables medical teams to adapt, innovate, and thrive in facing uncertainties. The dynamic and diverse field of healthcare is always changing as a result of societal shifts, technological advances, and increasing patient demands; due to this continuous transformation, visionary leadership is essential in motivating change, encouraging innovation, and bringing about beneficial changes in the healthcare industry, thus achieving the UHC.

Methods: this study employs an intensive literature review approach to gather and analyze relevant scholarly articles, reports, policy documents, and case studies related to visionary leadership, resilience in healthcare teams, and UHC implementation in Tanzania. The review encompasses studies on leadership theories, healthcare management practices, and team dynamics relevant to the Tanzanian context.

Results: visionary leadership emerged as a key driver in promoting innovation, collaboration, and strategic planning within healthcare institutions.
